Coaching Services
Target Clientele
Caregivers and Practitioners of children ages 4-12 who are struggling with emotional regulation and other issues.
Much of my experience is with high-masking and gifted children who may not be identified as neuro-divergent until I am able to help them identify it. My coaching services are all virtual and open to clients residing in any state.
If you are at the beginning of your journey and not sure if you child is neurodivergent but trying to navigate where to turn, I would love to guide you on this journey. Play therapy? Occupational therapy? Medication? Do I ask the pediatrician? Do I get a neuropsychological evaluation? It can be so confusing to navigate this system, and I will talk you through the pros and cons of each decision and my personal recommendations. I have worked with several families in therapy and coaching to help them identify the "flavor" of neurodivergence in their child and collaborate on deciding which accommodations will help their child thrive.
If you have already been on the journey for a while and nothing seems to be working or helping, I'm also here for you. Especially if your child is especially inflexible or labeled as "defiant." I may be able to help you reframe "defiance" as dysregulation and learn what regulates and dysregulates your child's nervous system so you can start working towards a life where your family does not have to walk on eggshells.
Let's work together to learn about your child's nervous system and what it needs to feel safe.
Coaching Framework
I use a "regulation first" framework which is based on polyvagal theory. It is neuro-affirming and trauma-informed. I enjoy using visuals, metaphors, and real-life examples to make learning about your child's brain fun, interesting and accessible. We will establish goals, and I will let you decide how you would like to use the time each session. Often clients will bring examples from home for us to talk through. I can help dissect the situation, what occurred and why, and strategies for next time. I can also provide foundational information and resources to help you understand and connect with your child better. There is no requirement to book a certain number of sessions and scheduling frequency is flexible. I want to flex to what works best for you and your family.
